When I’m asked what I do when I first start with a new company, the answer is clear: it begins with a marketing audit 📊.
While many start with training, my role often involves diving straight into the deep end.
Here's what my marketing audits cover:
1️⃣ People – Connect with key stakeholders to understand their perspectives.
2️⃣ Product – Gain a deep understanding of the products/services and how they solve customer problems.
3️⃣ Strategy – Evaluate the current marketing strategy. If it’s not documented, it’s likely either in someone’s head or being improvised. Either way, take the time to review and analyze their past efforts.
4️⃣ Analytics – Dive into any available data to either improve on or pivot the current approach.
A comprehensive audit sets the foundation for informed, effective marketing strategies. 🔍
What do you include in your marketing audits?
