How Long Should a Marketing Plan Be? 🤔

Someone once told me a marketing plan should only be 3–4 pages. At first, I was perplexed—did they mean the Executive Summary?
But it made me think: Does the length of a marketing plan really matter?
The answer: You’re asking the wrong question. The real question is, “Does my strategy include everything needed to achieve my desired outcomes?”
If 3–4 pages work for you, great! But if not, identify the gaps and address them.
Here’s what I always include in my marketing plans:

📌 KPIs
📌 Target Audience/Personas
📌 Brand Voice
📌 Competitor Analysis
📌 Tactics
📌 Budget Breakdown
📌 Roles & Responsibilities
📌 Critical Response Plan
