The DEC Network is a Dallas-based nonprofit dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for BIPOC and women entrepreneurs. I had the privilege of joining their team as Manager of Marketing and Communications for over a year, where I played an integral role in advancing their mission and expanding their outreach through strategic marketing and communication initiatives.

Developed and implemented a comprehensive annual marketing plan, overseeing multi-channel campaigns (social media, email, SEO, SEM, earned media, website, and events) to drive brand awareness and lead generation.

Led a team of 6 marketing professionals, efficiently managing the marketing budget to ensure resource allocation aligned with cost-effective strategies for maximizing ROI.

Tracked and analyzed campaign performance through monthly and quarterly reports, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts, while overseeing Salesforce CRM integration with key platforms for streamlined processes.

Secured 81 media publications (including features in Dallas Innovates, Fox 4, WFAA), increased website traffic to 3,000+ visits per month, and achieved a 45% email open rate by year-end, significantly enhancing brand visibility.
